Realtor®, Associate Broker, GRI®, ABR®

Melissa walked onto a construction site in 2001, and her career goals were permanently derailed. Fascinated by all things related to houses and real estate, she completed her MBA while working for a land developer in Maryland. She went on to work for two national builders before obtaining her real estate license. Melissa loves all things real estate, but hates that agents got a bad name by making promises to clients that they don’t fulfill. Melissa also writes for the Huffington Post About DC Real Estate Section.

Melissa has been in Real Estate since 2001. Born in Connecticut, she moved to Baltimore to complete her MBA while working for a local land developer. She went on to work for two national homebuilders before obtaining her real estate license. She writes a blog on the DC Real Estate Market for the Huffington Post. Besides Real Estate, animal rescue is another passion. She founded a non-profit, East Coast Corgi Rescue, to help save the lowriders. She lives in Glover Park with her kids, a gang of always increasing stumpy dogs and (thankfully) a really easygoing husband.
